My stay at Ace Hotel New York was truly enjoyable. the vibrant décor and friendly staff set the tone perfectly. While my room was spacious with a stunning view of the Empire State Building, it felt a bit dated in some aspects. Overall, I appreciated the location and the unique atmosphere, although it could have benefited from better maintenance.
Rooms
6.0
My room offered a gorgeous view straight to the Empire State Building and was quite spacious, especially for New York standards. however, it did have a slightly tired look, which was a bit disappointing. I also noticed some odd smells lingering in the air, which detracted from the experience.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly accommodating, from the front desk being super friendly to the doormen helping me grab a taxi in the rain. they made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated their willingness to hold my bags after checkout, allowing for more exploration in the city.
Location
9.0
The Ace Hotel's location couldn’t be better for getting around the city. it was within walking distance to several tourist spots and local dining options. The central location made it perfect for my mini-Birthday vacation, allowing me to easily explore NoMad and other neighborhoods.
Dining
7.0
Dining at the Breslin restaurant was a highlight. the breakfast was delicious and fueled my adventures for hours. I found the room service to be quick, but options could be limited, which I found a bit lacking.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had some nice facilities, with a cafe serving excellent coffee. although I did notice that the gym could use some upgrades. Overall, all services like housekeeping and room service were efficient during my stay.

5.4/10
My stay at Ace Hotel New York was mixed. While the staff were incredibly accommodating and made me feel welcome, the room itself fell short of expectations with its dark decor, noise issues, and a bit of an odor. The location was great for exploring the city, but I wouldn't rush back given the room's uncomfortability.
Rooms
5.0
My room felt more like a cramped dorm room than a boutique hotel. It had a noticeable odor, and I constantly heard construction noise from outside, which really disrupted my stay. The size was quite small, and I struggled with the design that felt overwhelming due to the dark colors and limited furniture options.
Service
8.0
The highlight of my experience was the staff, who were friendly and very helpful. They genuinely made me feel at home with their excellent service. However, I wish they had assisted more with things like luggage or getting cabs.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was one of its best features, with easy access to major attractions like the Empire State Building. I found it to be a vibrant area, bustling with young professionals, though it did get crowded at times.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed some of the dining options available, but they could be a bit pricey. The atmosphere in the lobby bar was lively and turned into a great spot for drinks in the evening.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like the coffee shop and gym were convenient. I appreciated the ease of access to local treats like Black Seed bagels. However, the elevators felt too small and inefficient for the number of guests, which was frustrating.

6.4/10
I had a fun stay at Ace Hotel New York. The room was well-designed, boasting a comfy bed and a great work table, though it missed a couple of complimentary water bottles. The bar downstairs had a lively vibe, but the dim lighting made areas feel a bit too dark. While I faced a few hiccups with room changes and noise from neighboring guests, the overall experience was enjoyable, especially thanks to the awesome location and friendly staff.
Rooms
8.0
The room was clean and stylish, featuring a big comfy bed and a spacious table for work or meals. However, the lighting was quite dim, making the room feel darker than I'd prefer.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, especially during the room change process. Though it lacked some personal touches, like recognizing my birthday, their service was overall solid.
Location
10.0
The location is unbeatable, allowing me to walk to major attractions like the Empire State Building and Grand Central Station without needing the subway at all. It was really central for exploring various neighborhoods.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent; I enjoyed the attached oyster bar, but I found the main restaurant menu a bit heavy. Reservations were needed for some dining experiences, which was a bit of a hassle.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were good overall, with room service and a well-stocked mini fridge. The lobby scene was lively, but it was a bit too dark for my taste.

My stay at the Ace Hotel New York was a good mix of style and comfort, with a few quirks that could use a little attention. The vibrant atmosphere in the lobby bar and the thoughtful room amenities made my experience enjoyable, although the bathroom setup left something to be desired. Overall, it's a fun spot that perfectly mirrors the hustle and energy of NYC.
Rooms
8.0
The room was surprisingly spacious and packed with amenities like a stocked fridge and even a guitar, making it feel more like a hip apartment than a hotel. However, the bathroom lacked adequate counter space and had an awkward shower setup.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed and even providing good local recommendations. They went above and beyond when handling my baggage after checkout.
Location

Perfectly situated in a lively area, close to the subway and within walking distance of many attractions. I loved the convenience of exploring the city from this central spot.
Dining
8.0
The dining options were surprisingly excellent, particularly the room service, which exceeded my expectations. However, some areas had limited selections that were a tad pricey.
Facilities

The facilities were solid, with good room service and a cozy bar area that served as a great spot for both work and relaxation. I appreciated that the shampoos were in large bottles instead of those tiny wasteful ones.

I had a bumpy start to my stay at Ace Hotel New York with a musty room and noisy neighbors, but I eventually found a lovely room that I enjoyed. The location is unbeatable, allowing me to explore the city easily. Overall, the unique atmosphere and friendly staff made my experience nice, despite a few hiccups along the way. 😊
Rooms
8.0
I experienced three different rooms; the first had a musty smell, while the final one was spacious, spotless, and well-designed with thoughtful amenities like a full-sized fridge and a turntable. I must say that the room setups seem perfect for solo travelers but could be tight for couples.
Service
8.0
The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, quickly addressing my requests for room changes. Although a few improvements could be made in personalized service during check-in, overall, they provided excellent support throughout my stay.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, allowing easy walking access to many attractions without needing the subway. I loved being able to explore nearby neighborhoods, even if Brooklyn was a bit of a trek. It felt vibrant and central, perfect for my trip.
Dining
7.0
Though I didn't dine much at the hotel, I appreciated the proximity to great food spots like Breslin and Stumptown, which added to my experience. However, the dining options could use more variety within the hotel itself.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers great facilities like 24-hour coffee, which was a lifesaver during my jet lag episodes. However, the noise from the lobby can be overwhelming at times, especially in the evening.
